Retrieves the name of the media file's author if available.

Syntax

HRESULT ITIMEMediaPlayer::get_author(BSTR *sName);

Parameters

sName

Pointer to a variable of type BSTR that receives the name of the media file's author.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

This property is only relevant for people who are writing a custom player for HTML+TIME (Timed Interactive Multimedia Extensions).
